North Syracuse's Village Court has Closed

Written By: Benjamin Goldman, Esq.

In a cost saving measure, the North Syracuse Village Board voted to abolish the North Syracuse Village Court (Village of North Syracuse Justice Court). As of May 31, 2018, all cases that were pending were divided between the Clay Town Court and the Cicero Town Court. North Syracuse itself is within those two towns. Any new charges originating in the village will be adjudicated in the same courts, depending on the exact location of the alleged infraction. If within the Clay portion of the village, it will go to the Clay court. If within the Cicero portion of the village, it will go to the Cicero court.
