Traffic Tickets in Allen, New York
The Allen Town Court handles all tickets issued in town. The court is located at the intersection of County Route 15 (CR-15) and Klein Road. They adjudicate tickets issued by the New York State Police and the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department. Most of their tickets stem from the road it sits on, CR-15. It is a straight laid, north-south bound road that cuts directly through the middle of town. Roads such as these frequently see traffic stops. Due to the road's length and straight nature, motorists often lose track of their speed which results in unintentional speeding. Along CR-15, the authorities wait on the side of the road for motorists going above the posted speed limit.
