Geddes is a town in Onondaga County, New York. It is considered a suburb of neighboring city of Syracuse. As of 2010, the population was 17,118. Onondaga Lake forms most of the eastern border of Geddes. The town includes the hamlets of Lakeland and Westvale. Geddes also includes the village of Solvay, which is governed independently from the town.
