Manlius is a village in Onondaga County, New York. It is located just southeast of the City of Syracuse and is considered its suburb. The village of Manlius is within the Town of Manlius. There are two other villages within the town, Fayetteville and Minoa. Of the three villages, Manlius is the most populated., the village had an estimated 4,600 residents.

There are two main roads in the village. The first is New York State Route 92, which runs southeast-northwest through the village. As NYS-92 enters the village from the southeast, via Cazenovia, it is named Washington Street. Route 92 turns west onto East Seneca Street, shortly thereafter turns north on Fayette Street, and then quickly turns northwest into Highbridge Street. NYS-92 exits the village in the northwest corner in the direction of DeWitt. The other main route in the village is New York State Route 173. It crosses the village northeast to southwest. NYS-173 enters the village from the northeast via Chittenango. As Route 173 enters the village, it is named East Seneca Street. NYS-173 goes directly into the center of the village where it is joined for a short period with Route 92. When Route 173 intersects with Fayette Street in the center of the village, it becomes West Seneca Street. NYS-173 exits the city to the west in the direction of the Town of Onondaga. Most traffic citations are issued on these main roads.
All traffic related charges originating from village roads are adjudicated in the Village of Manlius Justice Court (Manlius Village Court). The court should not be confused with the Manlius Town Court. The town court has jurisdiction over the rest of the town outside of the villages of Manlius, Fayetteville, and Minoa. The Manlius Village Court is located in the back of the Manlius Library building off Fayette Street.
