Marlborough is a town in the south-east portion of Ulster County, New York. The Hudson River marks the east town line and across the river is Dutchess County. Orange County is just south of Marlborough. To the west of the town is the Marlboro Mountain Ridge. As of August of 2021, the town population was 8305. Marlborough was established in 1788, and was named after Marlborough, England.
