Montour is a town in Schuyler County, New York. It is part of the Finger Lakes region and is located just south of Seneca Lake. Within the town is the Village of Montour Falls and the Hamlet of Deckertown. Montour Falls is the main population area of the town and the location of town offices., Montour has a combined total population of approximately 2,300. The town is named after Catherine Montour, an 18th-century Native American Seneca tribe matriarch.
