Solon is a town in Cortland County, New York. It is roughly forty miles south of Syracuse and considered part of the Central New York region. As of April of 2022, the town’s population was 1,065. Solon was established in 1798. The town consists of three hamlets: Mayberry Brook, Mayberry Mills and Solon.
