Warwick is a village in Orange County, New York. It is located approximately fifty miles northwest of Midtown Manhattan. The village is within the Town of Warwick. There are two other villages in the town, Florida and Greenwood Lake., the estimated population of Warwick Village was 6,500.
Traffic Tickets in Warwick
Most traffic tickets are issued on the main roads of the village. State Route 17A enters the town from the east via Greenwood Lake and is re-named Galloway Road. It runs east-west along the southern portion of the village. It exits to the southwest in the direction of New Jersey. Running north-south through the village is State Route 94. In the northern half of the village, it is named Maple Avenue and in the southern portion of the village it is named Oakland Avenue. Taking Route 94 north brings you to the Village of Florida.
All traffic violations from the village are adjudicated in the Warwick Village Court. The court is located in the Village Hall building on Main Street. This court should not be confused with the Warwick Town Court. They are independent of each other and in different locations. The town court has jurisdiction over the rest of the town outside of Warwick and the other two villages.
