Belmont is a village in Allegany County, New York. It is within the town of Amity. The area is considered part of the Southern Tier region. Belmont is around 80 southeast of Buffalo. Belmont has a total area of one square mile and is split by the Genesee River. It is the location of all Allegany County government offices. As of March of 2022, the village had 953 residents.
