Denning, New York
Denning is a rural town in Ulster County, New York. The town covers roughly one hundred and five square miles. The vast majority of the town is forestland of the Catskill Mountains. As of April of 2022, the total population was only 618. Denning was established in 1849 and named after Willing Denning, a local landowner. There are eight hamlets in the town: Branch, Bull Run, Denning, Frost Valley, Greenville, Ladleton, Peekamose and Sundown.
