Lewisboro is a town in Westchester County, New York. It is a suburb of New York City and is located around 60 miles northeast of Manhattan. As of February of 2022, the town’s population was 13,047. Lewisboro covers thirty square miles. The town was formed in 1747 and named after an early settler, John Lewis. Several hamlets make up the town. They are as follows: Cross River, Golden’s Bridge, South Salem, Vista, and Waccabuc.

New York State Route 35 is an east-west bound road in the middle of town that runs from Cross River to South Salem. Just north of South Salem is an intersection that is used for a speed trap. Motorists approaching the hamlet should try to stay below the 30 mph speed limit.
