New York Mills is the name of a village in Oneida County, New York. It is located just west of the City of Utica. The village was established in 1808 and received its name due to high quality textile mills (factories) in the area. New York Mills is split between the towns of Whitestown and New Hartford., the village population was estimated at 3,200.
