Ossining, New York
Ossining is a town in Westchester County, New York. It is located on the eastern bank of the Hudson River, approximately twenty miles north of Yonkers and approximately forty miles north of Midtown Manhattan. There are two villages in Ossining. One is named after the town, Ossining, and the other is Briarcliff Manor., the total population was estimated at 40,000.

US-Route 9 (South Highland Avenue) runs north-south in the western portion of town. It is the main commercial drag and passes through the Village of Ossining. The US-9 merges with NYS-9A and New York State Route 134 in Crotonville as it exits the town into Croton-On-Hudson.
