Granby is a town in Oswego County, New York. The origin of the name is not clear. The town is located around twenty-five miles northwest of downtown Syracuse., the town’s population was estimated at 6,500. Granby makes up forty-six square miles and consists of six hamlets. They are Dexterville, Granby Center, Hinmansville, Lewis Corners, Pember Corners, and South Granby. The town surrounds the neighboring City of Fulton on its north, west, and south sides.
