Lumberland is a town in Sullivan County, New York. It is located in the southeastern part of the Catskill Mountains, just north of the Pennsylvania State line. Taking it north will eventually lead you to the Town of Thompson. Running east-west is County Route 32 (Proctor Road)/County Route 31 (Upper Mongaup Road). Taking this road west brings you to the neighboring town of Highland.
