Delaware is a large and rural town in western Sullivan County. The Delaware River forms the western border between the town and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The estimated population as of 2020 is 2,682. The town encompasses a number of hamlets. The town court is located in the hamlet of Hortonville.
